A Timeless Elegance Wedding at Caledonia
Maddie and Andy's journey, from their memorable engagement in New York City, with the panoramic views of Brooklyn Bridge, to their heartwarming wedding at the Caledonia Golf and Fish Club, has been a unique love story. As childhood friends since age 2, the couple reunited during the 2020 lockdown when they crashed their mother’s planned girls’ gateway trip and have been inseparable ever since.
Before the ceremony started, Maddie and Andy shared a sweet first look. Their bridesmaids and groomsmen celebrated by their sides, along with a short appearance of their sweet, faithful Dachshunds, Marty and Strudel. Bridesmaids wore stunning navy satin dresses, keeping the classic blue tones alive throughout the day.
The April weather couldn’t have been more perfect. Under the warm sun, Maddie and Andy exchanged vows with a live oak backdrop in front of their friends and family. Upon their exit, rose petals showered the couple.
After a cocktail hour under the subtle glow of twinkle lights, guests flowed into the tent to watch the first dance. The candlelit tables and stunning florals by Willow created a romantic ambiance. Their officiant shared a sweet blessing before dinner began.
As the sunset, Maddie and Andy snuck away to spend an intimate moment alone during golden hour. When the couple returned, they danced to the band Creativity the rest of the night before making their grand exit.
