Venue Feature: Brookgreen Gardens

Brookgreen Gardens, nestled in Murrells Inlet, SC, is a stunning property originally purchased by Archer and Anna Huntington in 1930. Initially intended as a personal retreat, it quickly transformed into the renowned Brookgreen Gardens, A Society for Southeastern Flora and Fauna, a private, not-for-profit corporation.

Brookgreen Gardens offers an idyllic setting for a lush and picturesque wedding celebration. From its inception, the gardens have been dedicated to the collection, exhibition, and preservation of American figurative sculpture, Southeastern plants, and wildlife, earning it the distinction of being the premier outdoor museum of its kind globally.

Among its many treasures, the property boasts beautiful 250-year-old Live Oak trees, lending a beautiful ambiance to any event. Additionally, the Brookgreen art sculpture collection features over 2,000 works by 430 artists, adding an artistic touch to the surroundings.

Brookgreen Gardens is the perfect choice for couples seeking a truly unforgettable wedding venue with its rich history, breathtaking natural beauty, and unparalleled art collection. It’s one of our favorite places to work within the South.
