A Timeless Middleton Place Wedding | Vivienne + Patrick

Their engagement story: Patrick and Vivienne have been dating for about 6.5 years. They were up at Vivienne parent's farm and Patrick called her to come to take a picture of the fish he caught down at the pond. She went down and there was no fish. Patrick said their puppy Duck wrote a letter to her from the camp: Duck wrote that he wanted them to be a happy family and for Vivienne to marry his Dad. Patrick got down on one knee while the rest of Vivienne’s family was watching from afar at the house. It was so special and beautiful and their puppy Duck was such a beautiful part of their intimate engagement.

The aesthetic of the wedding included lots of neutrals- cream, ivory, and greenery. Vivienne loved the classic and elegant look that Middleton Place provided perfectly with lots of natural light, historic landmarks, and the oldest landscaped gardens in Charleston, South Carolina. That night was full of surprises: from the photo booth inside a Shasta Camper to the cigar roller and ice cream bar at the end of the night, their guests were in for so many fun treats. The last song of the night was "Country Roads" by John Denver which got everyone on the dance floor to honor their university WVU.
