A Dreamy Wedding At DeBordieu

Mackenzie and Braxton celebrated their wedding day at DeBordieu surrounded by loved ones and the stunning landscape of the venue. They worked with Blossoms Events to create the floral arch and floral chandelier of their dreams. From a peaceful ceremony to a delightful reception, the day was picturesque from beginning to end. Mackenzie reflected on her wonderful wedding experience below:

From The Bride:

At first, we had no idea where we wanted to get married. But we knew for sure that we wanted somewhere beautiful, outdoors, and charming. DeBordieu was the absolute, picture-perfect venue. We knew that the venue was beautiful so we did not want to take away from the beauty in any way. The design I envisioned all along was clean and crisp, the only colors being light blue, white, and green. And with the help of our incredible wedding planner Gigi this dream became a reality.

I wanted every single person there to have fun, feel relaxed, and take in the beautiful views. This was made possible by the flowing reception with band members greeting guests as they proceeded from the cocktail hour to the reception, the dreamy lounges under the Spanish moss trees, and the constant celebration on the dance floor under a breathtaking floral chandelier.

For the ceremony I wanted a flower arch to be the focal point, and our wonderful florist Blossoms Events knocked it out of the park. I’m still in shock as I look back at the photos. It was stunning. Fast forward to the reception celebrating with our closest family and friends, it made us so happy to see everyone together - celebrating our marriage. After dinner, we had the best time dancing the night away with all of our favorite people in the most beautiful place! It was truly a dream.
