I can’t believe it’s already December. Wow, what a year it has been so far. I am so excited to rest and reset before the busy Spring wedding season.
I am truly excited to embark on an exciting way of connecting with you in the new year. I never thought I would be writing in a journal and sharing my personal and professional experiences on my website because I don’t consider myself to be a great writer. I don’t think I could even call myself a writer. English is my second language and I constantly question myself and my sentence structure and grammar skills. Seriously, I am great at overthinking things and perfectionism gets in my way pretty often but this year I decided to let go of it and be content with doing my best even if it’s not good enough for others or as elaborate as I would love it to be. To start off, I wanted to share ten fun facts about myself and my business for you to learn more about!
SLP Events stands for Signature Luxe Planning and we have been planning life’s biggest celebrations since 2014 in the Southeast.
We love planning events in the South but traveling is a big passion of our family - we try to visit a different country every single year.
I have 2 brothers and 1 sister, they live in Europe with the rest of my family and closest friends. I am the second child and I was born and raised in Lithuania, a country in the Baltic region of Europe that is situated along the southeastern shore of the Baltic Sea.
My Starbucks order is always the same: a tall salted cream cold foam cold brew.
We are parents of 2 babies- almost 6-month-old Eliana and a fur baby Luna. We adopted Luna in September of 2019, she is a 4-year-old greyhound and she loves sleeping for 20+ hours a day! It’s been the best decision we made last year and at least one of our babies lets us sleep at night.:)
Blake and I take Christmas pictures every single year since we got married. It’s been our family tradition and we are planning on continuing it in the future!
I ran the Myrtle Beach marathon in 2020 and my finish time was 4:27. I had a goal to finish it before 4:30 and I was so happy I did it!
Blake and I were in a long-distance relationship for 2 years and we did a 90-day fiancé visa: trust me, it’s nothing as dramatic as that TLC reality show.:)
I speak 4 languages: Lithuanian, English, Russian and Spanish. I love learning new languages and practicing them with people who know them as well.
I love reading books and I think the best gift is a book because you can open it again and again.
